Technical Support Analyst

Durham Region, Ontario · Full-Time

We're looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join our team. You'll help our clients stay up and running — diagnosing issues, preventing future ones, and making sure people feel supported every step of the way. The work is a mix of hands-on troubleshooting, on-site visits across Durham Region, and proactive maintenance.

You'll work directly with small business owners and their teams. Some days you'll be configuring a firewall; other days you'll be walking someone through a password reset with patience and good humour. Both matter equally here.

What You'll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot issues via phone, remote, and on-site — be the calm, helpful voice our clients rely on
• Travel across Durham Region for on-site support, installations, and hardware work
• Handle patching, updates, backups, and proactive monitoring
• Keep documentation current and suggest better ways to do things
• Help implement and maintain cybersecurity measures across client environments

Who You Are

• Comfortable troubleshooting Windows desktops, laptops, and common business applications
• Working knowledge of networking basics — DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID)
• Able to explain technical concepts in plain language to non-technical people
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation for on-site visits
• Patient, organized, and genuinely enjoy helping people solve problems

Formal certifications or degrees are not required. We care more about practical ability, attitude, and a willingness to learn.
